Return Policy & Damages

At Doorland UK, we work closely with trusted manufacturers and suppliers to deliver high-quality external doors directly to our customers. As a retailer, we facilitate the order process, but all products are manufactured, dispatched, and delivered by our supplier partners.

Please read the following policy carefully before placing an order:

Delivery Inspection & Damaged Goods

  • All customers must inspect their order thoroughly at the point of delivery.
Before signing for your delivery, please check the packaging and product for any signs of damage, defects, or specification errors.

  • If there is any visible damage, defect, or the item does not match your order specification, do not accept or sign for the delivery.
Instead, reject the delivery and clearly state the reason with the delivery driver (e.g. “damaged item” or “incorrect product supplied”).

  • By signing for the delivery, you are confirming that the item has arrived in acceptable condition and matches your order.
Once signed for, you accept full responsibility for the item, and neither Doorland UK nor the manufacturer will be liable for any issues raised after the fact.

Returns for Incorrect Items

  • If the door delivered does not match your order specification (e.g. incorrect colour, size, glazing, or style), you must identify this at the time of delivery and reject the order.

  • Accepted deliveries for incorrectly supplied items cannot be returned or refunded, as the customer has accepted the item in its delivered condition.

  • Doorland UK cannot be held responsible for incorrect items that have been signed for. All such matters become a direct issue between the customer and the manufacturer.

  • We are happy to assist with communication and facilitate the next steps where possible, but we do not control the supplier’s processes for returns or replacements.

Manufacturer Responsibility

  • Doorland UK acts solely as a retailer.
Any product faults, damages (rejected at delivery), or specification errors must be resolved with the manufacturer directly, in accordance with their terms and conditions.

  • We can provide supplier contact details upon request and offer guidance on how to proceed with any claim.

Returns for Change of Mind

  • As most doors are made-to-order or customised, we do not accept returns for change of mind or incorrect measurements provided by the customer.

  • Please ensure all specifications, colours, sizes, and options are correct before placing your order.
